what’s in my bag.
Some of my favorite bloggers occasionally share an ‘in my bag’ post. It’s kinda fun taking a peek into the purses of other creative ladies, so I thought it time to share what’s in MY bag.
Top left, we have hand cream. As a full-time cake decorator, I constantly have my hands in gloves OR washing under hot water. Needless to say, they get dry. Very dry.. gotta moisturize.
Two things I try to take each day, a multi-vitamin and ginkgo biloba (for memory). On particularly stressful days, I take l-theanine for stress and anxiety. All from Whole Foods.
That little red number is a felt checkbook holder I made a few years back. Yes, I do still right checks.. and as a matter of fact, I am one of those rare weirdos that still records every single debit transaction into their register. Crazy, I know.
I always try to keep some yarn & a crochet hook closeby, for those unplanned waits at the bank/doctors office/etc.
Yellow wallet (from Target).. usually stuffed to the max with receipts.
Hair barrettes are your friends. My curly hair can get a bit unruly, so I rely on them to hold it back.
A lighter, for lighting things on fire. DUH.
Try not to leave the house without a notepad. I got this floral coral one in a 3-pack from Target.
Le Pens are my newest favorite writing utensil. They come in a wide array of colors and write like a dream. Current colors >> olive green, teal, & grey.
Peppermint lip balm, 4 life!
The blue floral zipper pouch was a total score in the Michael’s dollar bin. I keep hand-sanitizer, face lotion, and makeup inside.
Shades from Target.. for those beautifully sunny Nashville days.
One major thing missing? My phone. It was probably on the charger when this photo was taken.
And if you’re wondering, I usually carry some sort of cross-body bag.. to keep my arms free for impromptu dance parties. ♥
So there you have it. Fascinating stuff, yes? Nah, I don’t think so either.

My bag contains allot more snacks(thank you pregnancy/motherhood), but your bag has lots of very lovely colors!!
thank you lindsey
